Before you start daydreaming about winning the Southport Se7ens Hockey Festival, we need you to snap out of it and focus on the important stuff.

You must read the information provided below with laser-like precision before submitting your entry. Don’t forget, you also need to cough up a Security Bond (Check Below for details) soon after submitting your form.

And, of course, we can’t forget that this is the Norman Todd Memorial Tournament, so bring your A-game and your sense of humour to honour the late great Mr.Todd. So, stop procrastinating and get on with it – we believe in you!

The Festival
  • Se7ens Tournament: 24th and 25th August 2024.
  • Format: 7-a-Side Round Robin*
  • Category: Men’s, Women’s and Mixed.
  • Camping available, please see information below.
  • BeerFest: 23th and 26th August 2024.

*format will be finalised once all entries are confirmed.

Participation Restrictions

If you want to get into the Beer Festival venue and party like it’s 1999, you better wear your wristbands like your life depends on it (well, your party life anyway). And, just a heads up, you need to be at least 14 years old to get in on the action. If you’re under 18, you better bring your favorite adult with you – no, not your imaginary friend, a responsible one who will make sure you don’t do anything too crazy. We want you to have fun but also keep you safe too. So, slap on your wristbands and bring your designated grown-up to the Beer Festival venue. Let the good times roll (responsibly)!

What’s included

A security bond of £50 on top of the entry fee will need to be paid to secure your place via a confirmation email. This is a returnable bond as per our terms. Please check out our terms and conditions for details.

Early Bird: £150 per team (10 Players Squad)

Ends: 31st May (Full Payment Also Due on This date)

  • Min 10 Players Per Team with an option to add up to 5 more players at £15pp (Max Squad 15)

Standard £200 per team (10 Players Squad)

Ends: 16th July (Full Payment Also Due on This date)

  • Min 10 Players Per Team with an option to add up to 5 more players at £20pp (Max Squad 15)
  • Includes 1 Day of Hockey and Entry to the Beer Festival*
    • Men’s or Women’s Teams Playing on Saturday
      • Enter Mixed Team & get a % Discount* If already Playing Men’s or Women’s.
    • Mixed Teams Playing on Sunday
  • Entry to S&Beer Fest.
  • One Free Drink Per Player.

This year we are excited to announce that we will be providing camping for those teams who wish to stay over. There is an additional affordable cost for camping which is outlined below.

Teams will be asked to pay £25 per tent Standard Size (there maybe a small additional charge for larger tents, 4 person+). Book in advance via the entry form to the right or via email/contacts form, as there is limited space available. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis and will only be allocated after the bond has been paid by the team.

Teams will be allowed to arrive late Friday afternoon, 5:00pm on wards, to pitch tents ready for the tournaments’ start on Saturday Morning. The pitch is yours until Monday Morning if you wish to stay for the Beer Festival Weekend, whether you’re taking part in the The Mixed hockey on the Sunday or not.

Heads Up…

Hey there, hockey enthusiasts! Just one final thing… We just wanted to give you a heads up that we reserve the right to switch things up at any point leading up to and during the big weekend, anything you see with a * might be effected but not exclusively – we like to keep you on your toes. And, just so you know, the game time may be extended or reduced based on how many teams we’ve got in the running. We don’t want anyone getting too comfortable out there.

Now, we know what you’re thinking – “where’s the free booze?” Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Players will receive a voucher for a free drink (just one, mind you) on both Saturday and/or Sunday of the tournament depending on the format. Don’t spend it all in one place, now.

Finally, when you arrive at the tournament, we’ll give you a snazzy wristband – but hold on to your hats, because we’re only handing it to the team organiser. We don’t want any wristband mix-ups or shenanigans. So, get ready for a wild ride, folks!

Which tournament/s will you be entering?
We're very excited to offer Camping this year for the first time but if that's not your cup of tea then accommodation options are plentiful in and around Southport, we recommend checking the local hotels and B&Bs for some great offers they do especially when booking early. If you would like to camp please indicate how many tents you would potentially be bringing and we will get back to you on availability. Please also note that there is an extra charge for each tent pitch which is indicated in the section marked 'Camping' to the left of this form.
