Southport Se7ens Hockey Festivals

Norman Todd Memorial

Hey hockey family 🏑💛

If this year proved anything, it’s that when our community comes together… something special happens.

The Festival, The Vibes, The Banter, The Laughter, The moments you talk about all season.

And we’re not slowing down, we go again — bigger energy, same incredible spirit — with two festival weekends built around one hockey family.

🌟 Youth Hockey Festival – Last Weekend of June
A dedicated weekend for the next generation. Junior players taking centre stage, fast games, big smiles and an environment built around development, teamwork and unforgettable first festival memories.

🏑 Adult Hockey Festival – August Bank Holiday Weekend
Our flagship celebration returns. Competitive hockey by day, unbeatable atmosphere throughout, and that festival buzz that makes this weekend one everyone circles in the diary.

Two weekends, One community, One Hockey Family,

And as we head into our 15th year of hosting the Norman Todd Memorial Festival, we’re proud of what this event has become — not just a festival, but a tradition and a place to make new friendships regarless of what happens on the pitch.

So start planning.
Start organising your squads.
Start getting excited.

Because festival season is coming… and you won’t want to miss it. 💛🏑

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls hold onto your hats because This year’s festivals are going to be a fantastic one again – celebrating our 15th year for the Adult Hockey Festival and 2nd year of our Youth Hockey Festival, a seven-a-side hockey festival extravaganza! That’s right, it’s going to be another year of top-festival hockey which is giving you more of what you love, entertainment, banter and good old-fashioned fun hockey.

Now, we know what you’re thinking – “why mess with a good thing?” So we haven’t, we’re all about pushing boundaries and trying new things but also not about reinventing the wheel. Just like last year, this means we can fit more teams into the mix, which means even more opportunities to show off your silky skills, on and off the pitch.

But wait… there’s more excitement coming your way! We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be offering camping at the Adult Hockey Festival grounds again. Yes, you heard it right! You can extend the fun beyond the field and immerse yourself in the full festival experience under the starlit sky. Some disappointing news though… we don’t offer camping at the Youth Hockey Festival sorry! It’s will still be an amazing, fun a day of fun hockey for all the youth players.

So, get your kit ready and start practicing those fancy moves, we mean skills… It’s going to be a weekend of non-stop action, laughter, camaraderie, and now, camping adventures (At the Adult Hockey Festival). We can’t wait to see you there!

The Youth Hockey Festival

27th & 28 June

Last Weekend in June

In 2025 we introduced our first ever Youth Hockey Festival, which was a great success with some very positive feedback so we are bringing it back for 2026.

This will be a dedicated, single-day age group event across the weekend, focused entirely on young hockey talent and creating an unforgettable experience for all involved.

This is all about fast games, big smiles, great sportsmanship and giving young players the chance to experience festival-style hockey in a fun, positive and energetic environment. Great hockey, team spirit and we’re sure brilliant memories being made.

It’s about inspiring the next generation, building confidence, and letting young players feel like the stars of the show.

If that wasn’t enough we will also have a caterer onsite throughout the weekend to provide great food at resonable prices, oh and there’s more… we will have some retail stalls as well so you can purchase that new magic want to make your silky skills even more lightening fast.

Saturday:
U10s & U12s

Sunday:
U14s & U17s

The Adult Hockey Festival

29th & 30 August

August bank Holiday Weekend

Our Adult Festival will return across the August Bank Holiday weekend — running alongside our legendary S&BeerFest once again and that means… a whole lot of banter and umm beer of course.

We’re talking non-stop fun both on and off the pitch. Competitive hockey during the day, festival vibes in the evening, live music, great atmosphere and that classic “hockey family” feel that makes this weekend so special.

They don’t say hockey has a beer problem for no reason, right? 😂

It’s competitive, it’s social, it’s loud, and it’s a weekend you’ll be talking about long after the final whistle blows.

If that wasn’t enough we will also have a caterer onsite throughout the weekend to provide great food at resonable prices, oh and there’s more… we will have some retail stalls as well so you can purchase that new magic want to make your silky skills even more lightening fast.
