We’re bringing you two incredible weekends of hockey fun… one for the adults, and one dedicated entirely to youth teams.
🏑 Adult Hockey Festival (August Bank Holiday Weekend)
This is the big one… and yes, this is the only festival weekend that includes the Beer Festival and camping.
We’re talking non-stop hockey, ice-cold drinks, live acts, DJ’s and enough entertainment to keep you going all weekend long. What makes it even better? You can pitch up, camp on site, and enjoy the evenings without rushing off home.
So get your kit on, grab your sticks, and get ready for a weekend full of hockey, music, laughter and a little bit of chaos (the good kind 😜). We’re about to kick off the wildest, craziest, most epic adult festival weekend you’ve ever seen… we hope… lol!
🏑 Youth Hockey Festival (Last Weekend of June)
Our Youth Festival is all about the next generation of hockey stars. A full weekend dedicated to fun, competitive hockey in a safe, family-friendly environment.
Expect loads of games, brilliant atmosphere, team spirit, and plenty going on off the pitch too — but this one is focused purely on hockey and community. No beer festival, no late-night party vibes — just great sport, positive energy and an unforgettable experience for young players, coaches and supporters.

Saturday & Sunday Bank Holiday Weekend
Hold onto your hockey sticks, folks, because we’ve got a festival that’s going to knock your socks off! The Southport Se7ens Hockey Festival is not only a tribute to the legendary Norman Todd, but it’s also a chance for us to hit the astro and show off our skills.
And the best part? We’re just a quick jaunt away from the Beer Festival Venue – so when you’re done crushing it on the pitch, you can hit up the brews and keep the good times rolling. Just a 10-minute walk (or a 3-minute drive for those who are feeling particularly tired or a little bit lazy lol).
So, get ready for a weekend of hockey, beer, and memories that will last a lifetime. It’s going to be a blast!

Organised by Southport and Birkdale Sports Club (our parent club), the Beer Festival is the place to be for all you fun-loving, beer-swilling folks out there, so Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time to put your drinking hats on because we’ve got a festival that’s going to knock your socks off!
This event is so popular, even the locals are jumping on board – and that’s saying something. Whether you’re a die-hard member of the sports club or just looking for a good time, the beer festival has got you covered. With great entertainment and a never-ending supply of delicious brews, this is the party you don’t want to miss.
So, come one, come all – let’s make some memories (and some questionable decisions) together at the Southport and Birkdale Sports Club Beer Festival!
The Beer Festival is organised by Southport and Birkdale Sports Club.
- Real Ale Bar will offer 15+ Beers, Ales and Ciders
- Terrace Bar will offer specialist Gins, Prosecco, Rum and of course Shots
- Main Bar will offer Wine, Soft Drinks, Snacks
- Food
- The menu will have a wide veriety of options which will be available throughout the weekend from Loaded Fries to Wraps and Pizzas.
- Dessert van will offer Ice Cream & Coffee
- Live Music:
- Various bands will be playing throughout the weekend at various times.
- DJ’s will keep the music going when the live bands are resting inbetween sets.
